The Jisr e-Zarka case is one the most challenging projects we are involved in. The Israel-Arab township is in a deplorable socio-economic state. The head of the authority is determined, to make dramatic progress - by applying the Education City model. How is it to be done?
Systematic change in a weakened community can only be realized through the creation of relationships and interactions between education, economics, and society. Education is the principal engine for change. Through the ripple effect, the change will influence all aspects of life. There is great importance in the use of heritage, narrative and local resources.
In the case of Jisr e-Zarka, the social-family heritage and the wonderful natural resources of its surroundings
were essential components of the change.
